Second Week of Work
Now that I am settled in, work has increased quite a bit, but so far it’s still pretty enjoyable. I pretty much finished with the work I was doing with the indicators earlier. I’m just waiting on some input from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education to finish the final document and presentation. While we are waiting for that I started working on another project.

Souk Jara
Amman doesn’t have the large outdoor bazaars that you find in other cities of the region, such as the Khan el Khalili of Cairo and the bazaars of Marrakesh and Casablanca. The aforementioned almost-drive to the Dead Sea eventually ended at this cafe called Books@Cafe with my Jordanian friend, two of his friends from home and a friend of ours from school. On the ground floor, at the entry is a bookstore and then upstairs there is a restaurant with a terrace that overlooks Amman.
